A bird’s-eye view of Bristol Beacon

Last week our building contractors Willmott Dixon got their hands on a drone and took these incredible bird’s-eye view pictures of our construction site.

We’ve been a bit chilly recently, considering we don’t currently have a roof! But as the sun shone down, we had the privilege of witnessing the exciting moment when the first steel roof trusses, that will support our new roof, were flown in from above.

Do you remember our old box office entrance with its 1950s green and red paint job? We’ve removed the paint and exposed the brickwork on the archways which will become a central feature of our new restaurant which will sit under The Lantern.
