We want all Bristolians to be proud of their concert venue and this means sharing the power and joy of live music with all of Bristol’s communities.
In the build-up to reopening our venue and from then on, the many diverse communities of Bristol will be at the heart of what we do, ensuring that our programme is relevant and representative.
Soon we will be launching a major new city-wide music project called A New Song for Bristol, and we’re calling out to you.
We want to hear your words, your songs, your music and your stories. A New Song for Bristol invites the people of the city to contribute to a musical archive of Bristol’s experiences of this historic year and your hopes for the future.
We’ll announce more details about this work soon. To express your interest in hearing more about A New Song for Bristol when it is announced, please complete the form below.
A New Song for Bristol is funded by National Lottery Heritage Fund as part of our Lantern Project.
On Wednesday 23 September 2020 Colston Hall changed its name to Bristol Beacon.
Our new name is just the first step, it is about more than the sign above our door. Click below to find out more about how we’re changing, watch our name announcement, and discover how we want everyone to share in the joy of live music.
