Van Morrison

Tuesday 28 Jan 2014 8pm, £48.38-£80.63 incl. booking fee

The legendary artist and multi-Grammy Award winner that brought us ‘Brown Eyed Girl’ returns to Colston Hall early next year.

It’s been 45 years since Morrison first released his solo debut, ‘Astral Weeks’. Now on his 35th solo album entitled ‘Born To Sing: No Plan B’ which Uncut has described as a “real return to form”, the Northern Irish singer is showing no signs of calling time on his career. Performing tracks old and new, all with that trademark “sinuous growl” (Rolling Stone), Morrison’s live shows have been described as “transcendental” (Huffington Post) at their best. Not to be missed.

Ross Noble

Following 14 sell-out tours, the king of improvisational comedy Ross Noble is back with another mind-blowing UK tour. With an on-stage presence like no other, his exuberance, spontaneity and cerebral style have established him as one of Britain’s best-loved comedians. Recommended for ages 15+.

The wizard-haired Geordie remains in full possession of his nimble-witted, slacker minded impro skills. One of comedy’s greatest marvels

Northern Irish comic and Jimeoin is one of the hottest comedians on the block right now. As a regular face on television down under, and having played sell-out shows in his native Northern Ireland and his adopted home of Australia, it’s only a matter of time before he does the same here.

On UK screens Jimeoin has appeared on Live at the Apollo and 8 out of 10 Cats, regaling audiences with his on-point observations about life’s many absurdities. See him at Colston Hall to find out why the Aussies like him so much.
