Bristol’s Big Instrument Amnesty

Do you have a pre-loved or unplayed instrument looking for a new lease of life? Would you like to support music education in Bristol and help to inspire the next generation of musicians?

This summer we are holding the Big Bristol Instrument Amnesty and asking the people of Bristol to donate musical instruments in a good, playable condition to Bristol Plays Music. All instruments will be used to give more children and young people in Bristol the chance to learn to play.

What instruments can I donate?

Yes, please!

Violins, violas, cellos, double basses, acoustic guitars and ukuleles.
Trumpets, trombones, cornets and euphoniums.
Clarinets, flutes, saxophones, oboes and bassoons.
Any orchestral percussion instruments.

How do I donate?

Please deliver your musical instruments to Bristol Plays Music, Stanton Road, Southmead BS10 5SJ

Or, to Colston Hall, Colston Street, Bristol, BS1 5AR

We will be able to accept donations during business hours between 9am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.
