Online Bristol Takeovers raise £15.6k for artists and venues

On Saturday 23 May we presented Bristol Takeover Online – our first ever live streamed festival.

Over 8,000 viewers tuned in, with 650+ donations helping us to beat our target of raising £10,000 to support artists and Bristol’s music venues in collaboration with Music Venue Trust’s Save Our Venues campaign.

Bristol Takeover Online Pt. 2 followed not long after on Saturday 20 June, packed with even more artists and music, featuring takeovers from most of Bristol’s finest music venues.

In total the Takeovers have received over 13,000 views to date, featured 22 hours of music from 75 local artists and performers and raised over £15,600 to support artists and Bristol’s music venues via Music Venue Trust’s Save Our Venues campaign.

Rockin’ out at the Lego stage

Not content to have the bands live in his home, Richard Edkin decided they needed a proper stage too. We love the Lego stage and audience enjoying the fest. Rock on!
