Our good friends (and experts in all things guitar-related) at Guitarist and Guitar Techniques magazines have joined forces to produce this new show focusing on the period between the acoustic Delta Blues sound of the 1930’s and the advent of Rock ’n’ Roll in the 1950’s.

This was the era of giants such as Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker and T-Bone Walker who harnessed the power of the then new-fangled guitar amplifier and literally changed the musical landscape forever.

This show takes us back to pay homage to the very artists that would have inspired both those acts and many others, as youngsters.

This is a Bristol International Jazz and Blues Festival at Bristol Folk House, 40a Park St, Bristol BS1 5JG
