Phoenix, Arizona native and co-founder of the Carolina Chocolate Drops, Dom Flemons is a Grammy-award winning songwriter with two Emmy nominations under his belt. The instrumentalist, producer and actor is considered an expert player on the banjo, guitar, harmonica, jug, percussion, quills, fife and rhythm bone, earning himself the nickname “the American songster”.

His album ‘Black Cowboys’ was hailed as “an enduring testament to the Black cowboys and what they represent,” (Folk Radio), specialising “in reviving pre-war African-American string-band styles,” (The Guardian).

Support comes from JD Wilkes, best known as the leader of the experimental rockabilly group Legendary Shack Shakers.
