Loudly and proudly presenting shows in venues of all shapes and sizes across the city.
Hailed as “the most convincing folk band to come out of Ireland in years” (The Guardian), Rough Trade’s Lankum return to the stage in support of their much-anticipated third album. Encompassing the spirit of traditional folk tales, the four-piece tackle everything from murder ballads to drinking songs. Combining haunting vocal melodies, uilleann pipes, concertina, accordion, fiddle and guitar, the group take the terrors of the modern world and turn them into raucously, refreshing contemporary anthems. This punk fervour perfectly captures their experimental attitude, with a stage show that offers a mysterious and dimly-lit deep dive into the minds of one of Dublin’s finest exports.
