The masterfully understated and brilliantly unique Netflix star and BAFTA nominee Simon Amstell makes his Bristol Comedy Garden debut. Fresh from his critically acclaimed debut feature film ‘Benjamin’ Simon now brings his new stand-up to the Comedy Garden stage.

Joining Simon is a flawless bill with Edinburgh Comedy Award winning stand-up Bridget Christie, award nominated Mock The Week star Sophie Duker, Live At The Apollo’s Ivo Graham and podcast hero and Comedy Garden fave John Robins as host.


This year’s special edition Comedy Garden takes place on The Downs, Bristol, BS9 1FG

To allow for audience members to be seated in their social bubbles, tickets for Comedy Garden are being sold in pairs and groups of four.

This event uses eTickets. You will receive your e-tickets via email attachment after you complete your purchase. Please either print your ticket or store it on a digital device to present on arrival.

There are no intervals and each show will run for approximately 100mins.

Covid-19 Safety Measures

This event has been specifically designed to ensure it can operate safely in the current circumstances. Comedy Garden have made the following changes:

  • The event will take place outside
  • The festival site has increased in size
  • Tickets are sold in pairs and groups of four to allow social bubbles to sit together
  • The audience arena is split into four blocks each with their own colour code, entrance and exit points, toilet and hygiene facilities and dedicated staff. Tickets purchased via Bristol Beacon will be in the blue block.
  • Face coverings must be worn until you are seated.
