“Explosive electronic duo” (Pitchfork) Soccer96 are core members of London’s prolific contemporary jazz scene.
Best known as two-thirds of The Comet is Coming, Danalogue (Dan Leavers) and Betamax (Max Hallet) have also worked with Snapped Ankles, Sons of Kemet and Melt Yourself Down. As Soccer96 they bring the fun with their effervescent, cosmic electronica.
On their latest EP ‘Tactics’, the duo teamed up with poet and saxophonist Alabaster DePlume, bringing in DePlume’s fiery lyricism for a “joyous and kaleidoscopic record” (The Quietus).
