“Bob Marley may be the international face of reggae, but Birmingham’s UB40 have done more to popularise the music than anyone else,” says The Guardian. Since their formation in 1978, UB40 have sold over 70 million records worldwide, topped the UK album chart twice and hit the top 20 countless times with much-loved singles like Red Red Wine, I Got You Babe, Homely Girl, Kingston Town and (I Can’t Help) Falling in Love. Original members Ali Campbell, Micky Virtue and Astro return to the fold to perform material from the band’s new album Silhouette and of course, their remarkable back catalogue.
