FLOW Creative (11-25)

Bringing disabled young people together to create and explore music

We believe that all young people have the right to accessible opportunities which explore their musical potential and inspire a life-long relationship with music.

What is FLOW Creative?

FLOW Creative is a regular music making club for young musicians who want to have fun, be creative, and make new music and new friends. Every session is designed around who is there, so you decide what activities take place. Our friendly, expert workshop leaders are on hand to build the sessions around your interests and offer support that is right for you, so you can take your music to the next level.

Who is it for?

The sessions are for young people aged 11-25 who are interested in music making of any kind. You can play instruments, write songs, compose, produce, sing, rap, and much more. We think that the more comfortable you are, the more creative you can be and all our sessions are fun, supporting and accessible. The FLOW Creative is for young people at all levels of musical ability, whether you’ve been having lessons for years, are already part of an Open Orchestra at school, or have no experience but want to try something new.

When does it happen?

We have two groups which meet weekly on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings in Southmead during term time from 5pm until 7pm.

How can I get involved?

Welcome to
Bristol Beacon

On Wednesday 23 September 2020 Colston Hall changed its name to Bristol Beacon.

Our new name is just the first step, it is about more than the sign above our door. Click below to find out more about how we’re changing, watch our name announcement, and discover how we want everyone to share in the joy of live music.
