New project completion plan agreed by Bristol City Council

The overall cost for the transformation of Bristol Beacon has been calculated at a maximum of £106.9m, to include contingencies, with a new completion date of April 2023 and re-opening in October 2023. Bristol City Council will be responsible for the additional investment in the project, which will come through external funding, the council’s own capital programme and Prudential Borrowing. A bird’s-eye view of Bristol Beacon

Last week our building contractors Willmott Dixon got their hands on a drone and took these incredible bird’s-eye view pictures of our construction site. We’ve been a bit chilly recently, considering we don’t currently have a roof! Bristol Beacon receives £6.2m Capital Kickstart grant from Government’s Culture Recovery Fund

We are pleased to announce that Bristol Beacon has been awarded a £6.2m Capital Kickstart grant towards our transformation programme as part of the Government’s £1.57 billion Culture Recovery Fund.
