A Winged Victory for the Sullen

Colston Hall Presents at Trinity

A Winged Victory for the Sullen exist in a strikingly beautiful, ambient world. Dustin O’Halloran and Adam Wiltzie have been carving out this space for the better part of a decade and in doing so, have changed the landscape of neo-classical.

The pair have come together again for the release of their new album ‘The Undivided Five’. Only their second piece of original music outside of film and stage commissions, it marks their first release for label Ninja Tune. Creating music that’s “more active than drone and thicker than minimalism, [capturing] movement and [freezing] it” (Pitchfork), ‘The Undivided Five’ sees big chords and complicated arrangements inform the duo’s new direction.

The incredible Echo Collective will be joining O’Halloran and Wiltzie on stage with a string and brass section.

Plus additional support from Daniel Wohl.
