The ever-questing English folktronica crew Tunng return with a new album, podcast series and conversation on death and grief.
The multi-media release titled “Tunng Presents…Dead Club” sounds like it would be a somewhat morbid subject, but in the talented hands of this enigmatic collective they have created a “remarkable collision of music and spoken word…as odd and beautiful as it is thoughtful and contemplative.” (Uncut)
Exploring our culture’s relationship with dead and dying Tunng present a “thoughtful meditation on life and loss” (Guardian) that will be brought to life (in a sense) in a live performance at St George’s Bristol in 2021.
