Inspiring the children of Bristol to learn a bass instrument
We’re excited to share a first glimpse of Beacon Bass Boost! This brand new campaign is designed to inspire young people to take up a bass instrument, whether it be double bass, bassoon, tuba, euphonium, trombone or bass guitar.
This term we’ve hit the road and visited local primary and secondary schools across the city.
So far over 2100 young people from 7 schools have been treated to thrilling guest performances and interactive masterclasses, from the likes of Brass Bands England, Royal Marines Service Band, Bristol University Symphonia, and Wells Cathedral School.
