An afternoon of joy and celebration at our Community Summer Showcase

This June our community groups hit the Bridgehouse stage with a gorgeous showcase sharing all of their work and music created throughout the year.
We were proud to present the incredible creativity of musicians, movers, singers and songwriters from our featured projects, including Hope Creative, Pulse, Our Music Club and FoStars.
Pulse, our music and movement group kicked off the show with ‘Metamorphosis’ an original song and dance performance devised collaboratively by the group. Lei.zy, a Care Leaver from our Hope Creative programme then treated us to a suite of her own original songs, moving the audience with her lyrical songwriting and deeply soulful melodies.
Nor were FoStars (our Foster Carer Choir) one to miss, with their joyful renditions of ballads ‘I Can See Clearly’ by Johnny Nash, ‘Let It Be’ by The Beatles and ‘Top of the World’ by The Carpenters.
We had a ball!
Thank you to all of our participants, tutors, partners and supporters for another wonderful year for our Community Programme.
