Music is for everyone, regardless of background or circumstance and we believe that a cost should not be a barrier to a child who wants to learn music.

We offer a range of financial support for individuals and schools, including bursaries, discounts and payment plans for those who are eligible.

Benefits include reduced and free music lessons, reduced and free instrument hire, reduced and free access to our ensembles, groups and choirs, and free access to other workshops and activities.

These are available to:

  • Pupil Premium students
  • Care Experienced Young People
  • Those with Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP)
  • Those learning an endangered instrument (see info below)
  • Refugees and asylum seekers
  • Low-income families
  • Those attending multiple ensembles, groups or choirs

I am so grateful for the financial assistance we have received over the years. As a single parent, it has been invaluable in enabling me to support my child in his musical activities, which would have been quite a struggle to afford had it not been for this generous scheme.

… [Bristol Beacon] have nurtured his talent and given him so many fabulous experiences and opportunities.”
