Nathan Fake sits on a white stool looking calm as he holds a mug in a tranquil dream-like scene lit with cool pink and blue

For almost two decades, Nathan Fake has forged a distinct path with his glitchy, pastoral techno.

Earlier this year Norfolk-born producer released his fifth studio album ‘Blizzards’, offering “his most club-friendly recording without sacrificing the soaring melody of his work” (Resident Advisor).

A record he describes as “the soundtrack to my ideal rave”, the hardware-fuelled productions across ‘Blizzards’ pulse with skittering breakbeats and nimble, jolting percussion with transcendent melodies soaring throughout.

Encapsulating the hypnotic dynamism of his live shows, these tracks give a taste of Fake’s immersive live performances.

“From the start, the idea behind the album was that it was the soundtrack to my ideal rave,
which might not be to everyone’s taste, but is perfect for me.”
