The Bristol Beacon Musical Schools membership aims to support all schools in the city to fully integrate music education into their curriculum.

Our award-winning programme supports schools through a range of high-quality curriculum resources, enrichment activities and teacher training opportunities.

Infant Membership

Our new Infant Schools membership programme has been specifically designed to support infant schools to create a thriving musical community.

This programme includes a curriculum and a KS1 Music Making programme that is designed specifically for your school. You can take advantage of CPD for teachers, free places at KS1 massed singing events held at Bristol Beacon, support with your school’s Music Development Plan, curriculum resources, sheet music, a bespoke singing assembly run by a member of the Bristol Beacon Hub team and more.

Primary Membership

Tools and resources for music leads and class teachers to deliver an inspirational music curriculum for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

The Primary Membership Programme includes support to create a bespoke School Music Educational Plan for your school; access to high quality resources including the Bristol Music Curriculum; instrumental lessons for individuals, small groups or whole classes; training events for music specialist and non-specialist teachers and bespoke INSET/staff meeting and consultancy.

SEN Schools Membership

Our SEN Schools membership programme has been specifically designed to support schools to create a thriving musical community.

The SEN Schools Membership Programme includes support to create a bespoke School Music Educational Plan for your school; with access to specialised SEN workshops and Music Leads networks. Members receive to high quality digital and physical resources including the Bristol Music Curriculum; instrumental lessons for individuals, small groups or whole classes; training events for music specialist and non-specialist teachers and bespoke INSET/staff meeting and consultancy.

Secondary Membership

Create a School Music Education Plan and diversify your curriculum through instrumental tuition and music technology for Key Stage 3, 4 and 5.

The Secondary Membership includes support for creating a School Music Education Plan; training for music leads to support an ongoing musical culture and to help develop and diversify your curriculum; administration support and highly skilled music tutors to enable you to offer an instrumental tuition programme; music advancement subsidy; digital learning software licences, including Focus on Sound Pro, Soundtrap/Noteflight or Auralia/Musition.

Earthsong Programme

Students part of our Earthsong Programme join the Benedetti Sessions

Our Earthsong Programme provides the first step into music for children in Bristol primary schools.

Created in partnership with the Earthsong Foundation, the Earthsong Programme guides children in 13 Bristol primary schools through a 5 year music education programme.

The Programme is provided to schools that may have limited music provision, particularly in disadvantaged areas or where English is a second language.
