Andy Hague; The Blues + the Abstract Truth – POSTPONED

Part of Bristol International Jazz & Blues Festival

Due to the ongoing impact of the Coronavirus outbreak, this event is postponed. The organisers are working to find a new date for the concert to take place. All ticket holders are being contacted and asked to retain their ticket until a new date is announced.

Andy Hague’s rendition of Kind of Blue was a highlight of last Festival, and for 2020 he takes on Oliver Nelson’s 1961 album The Blues & The Abstract Truth.

Originally featuring a stellar line up including Freddie Hubbard, Eric Dolphy, Bill Evans, Paul Chambers and Roy Haynes, Andy’s take on this seminal work will similarly feature contemporary jazz royalty.

This is part of the Bristol International Jazz and Blues Festival at St George’s, Great George St, Bristol BS1 5RR
