Regrettably, due to current Government restrictions and scheduling issues, the Artist has had to withdraw from these performances at Bristol Beacon on Friday 25th June 2021, the shows are now cancelled.
Please see below a statement from the Artist:
I hope you can understand that as much as we wanted to do the show, and we really did (that’s why we hung in there this long hoping that things would open up) it’s just not possible.
I promise that when things can reopen as normal, we will be back. In the meantime I’m incredibly sorry not to be seeing you on this occasion but Kai and me always want to be sure we can give you a great night out – and this just wasn’t looking possible with all the restrictions. The folks at the Beacon have been lovely and could not have done more to try and help make this work and we’re sorry – but as fans of live comedy, we also hope you will understand.
Scotland’s international comedy superstar Daniel Sloss is “blessed with a sharp mind and a potent stage persona” (The Scotsman) that have rightly rewarded him with sell-out tours across the globe and two acclaimed Netflix specials ‘Dark’ and ‘Jigsaw’.
Never afraid to tackle edgy subject matter, Sloss’ “dirty, sweet and clever” material (New York Times) have become infamous at the annual Edinburgh Festival Fringe and international comedy festivals. He has an unrivalled skill at “creating moments of near unbearable tension and then puncturing them with a welcome but unexpectedly sharp barb” (Time Out).
Sloss returns to Bristol with his extraordinary new show “HUBRIS” as we transform our foyer into an intimate comedy club.
“Deliciously dark stand-up”
