With spellbinding vocals and poetic lyrics Devon Sproule creates “dreamy songs of rural domestic bliss” (The Guardian). It’s North American music that contemplates the human condition through the language of nature.
Returning to the UK following the release of her album ‘Pink Noise, she is joined by Toronto’s Marker Starling (formerly Chris A. Cummings). Joining musical influences and stories spun with oddity, the two will showcase their own unique brand of songwriting at The Folk House with music that’s “so curious, so evocative, so wilfully idiosyncratic that we can’t help but play it on repeat” (Clash Magazine).
