Festival of Sound 2019

UWE Bristol Centre for Music returns for another huge, family-friendly festival of performances and installations for all ages.

After a day filled with free live jazz, gospel, pop and rock performances, with chances to try DJing, hand drumming and immerse yourself in a listening installation from In The Dark, grab a ticket to the evening concert packed with stunning film and TV-themed music.

The programme for the evening concert includes Barber’s haunting Agnus Dei, plus music from James Bond, Sister Act, Jungle Book and many more. Featuring a brand new composition using EDM with a live orchestra and a breathtaking finale with our stunning massed choir from Bristol schools this is an event not to be missed!

Festival of Sound is an annual music showcase of student and schools outreach music work to showcase the music of UWE students, staff and local school children who have participated in the CfM outreach programme.
