This concert sees some of the city’s finest young wind players, The Victoria Quintet, combine with rising star Georgie Ward for a feast of 20th century music with a French flavour! With their inimitable style, youthful vigour and finesse they are sure to draw a wide new audience to this somewhat neglected repertoire. The concert also features new works by young local composer, Liam Taylor-West, who will combine with Georgie for an interesting musical take on the months of March and October written for piano and electronics.
