To celebrate L’Orchestre Symphonique Kimbanguiste de Kinshasa’s visit to Bristol, young musicians from around the city will perform their own composition ‘The Hunt’ in the Colston Hall foyer.

‘The Hunt’is a 30m suite of music and song, combining Congolese, western classical and popular music. Working with internationally renowned South African composer Eugene Skeef, the musicians developed their themed piece through an exchange of music and ideas with Orchestra members in Kinshasa. The Kinshasa players were so impressed by the results that several have asked to perform with the Bristol group.

Please join us for this unique international celebration of young musicians’ creativity.
