Jon Allen

He’s the “internet hit man” (The Telegraph) who found renown after his song Going Home was featured on a Land Rover ad and garnered a gaggle of A-list fans, including Jo Whiley, Jools Holland and Emmylou Harris. “His yarns and philosophies paint a picture of a grizzled American folk music, decades of abandon behind him,” says BBC Music of his sophomore effort, Sweet Defeat. Allen performs following the release of his third album, Deep River.
