Live at The Southern Ground is “a handsome showcase for [Martin] Harley’s talents as acoustic guitarist, writer and performer” (The Guardian). Alongside double bassist Daniel Kimbro, Harley revisits some of his back catalogue and reworks classics by the likes of Lead Belly and Tom Waits. As the name suggests, the album was recorded live at the historic Nashville studio and, says Music Riot, is “all about the two players finding space to make their own creative contributions, and they do it to perfection”.
This is a seated show.
