Masayoshi Fujita

plus support from Sean Addicott

Mesmerising vibraphone maestro Masayoshi Fujita brings his otherworldly compositions to Bristol this February. Fujita creates “essential, calming music” (The Fader) that puts the often overlooked vibraphone firmly in the spotlight. On his latest album “Book of Life”, released in 2018 on Erased Tapes, Fujita transcends his previous work and presents compositions that are “beautiful, layered pieces that seem to flow effortlessly from one to the next” (The 405). Other instruments orbit around the delicate sounds of the vibraphone allowing Fujita to create aural worlds to get lost in.
