Neon Dance presents Dance & Robotics, taking place across two workshops (including the first session for visually impaired participants) at Bristol Beacon Foyer.
Workshop participants will see how their movement can directly influence swarm robots and their input will inform the making of a robot community, which features in Neon Dance company’s new production ‘Prehension Blooms’ due to premiere at Bristol Beacon in 2022.
The workshop will be led by Hemma Philamore (University of Bristol’s Robotics Lab) and Neon Dance choreographer Adrienne Hart.
Each workshop is limited to 8 people to allow for social distancing.
This is a socially distanced seated workshop taking place in Meeting Room 1 at Bristol Beacon Foyer, Trenchard St, Bristol BS1 5AR.
On Wednesday 23 September 2020 Colston Hall changed its name to Bristol Beacon.
Our new name is just the first step, it is about more than the sign above our door. Click below to find out more about how we’re changing, watch our name announcement, and discover how we want everyone to share in the joy of live music.
