Orchestre Poly-Rythmo

Reignited in full polyrhythmic flair five decades after its inception, Orchestre Poly-Rythmo is the oldest active African orchestra. Since the 1960s, the orchestra has produced hundreds of EPs and dozens of albums, music influenced by traditional Beninese music, American soul and funk, Nigerian afrobeat, Congolese rumba, Ghanaian high-life, French pop and Afro-Cuban rhythms.

Original members Vincent Ahehehinnou, Gustave Bentho and Loko Pierre have spearheaded a resurgence of the powerful ensemble, embarking on a thrilling new chapter of their inimitable live shows following the success of latest release ‘Madjafalao’ (2016).

This is a standing event.
