Colston Hall Presents at Trinity

Throughout making his record ‘Dépaysé’ Sudanese-American musician Sinkane kept asking himself the same question: “As an immigrant to America, where do I belong?” The result is an album that celebrates global sounds blending styles from upbeat Afro-funk to shoegaze to psychedelia. “Bursting with colour” (The Independent) and saturated with rhythm this “social conscious music suffused with joy” (The Guardian) is guaranteed to move your heart as well as your feet.
