Not many bands can say they invented a genre. The Long Ryders pretty much did and if you’re a fan of alt-country then don’t miss these pioneers at River Town this summer. The band are back with their first new material in almost 30 years marking “a triumphant return from a band that should have been bigger back in their first go-round” (PopMatters). If you have been lucky enough to see The Long Ryders before then you know there is nothing like this band live. For anyone that is a fan of Wilco, Jeff Tweedy and Ryan Adams but never experienced The Long Riders, you are in for a treat. Saddle up and hang on tight.
Plus support from Morton Valence.
