The Russian Patriarchate Choir of Moscow

Founded in 1983, the Russian Patriarchate Choir of Moscow has led the way in the rediscovery of Orthodox church music, much of which had been unheard for centuries.

“The fine male voices of the choir … create a powerful atmosphere of energy and devotion, of fluency and a spontaneity that effectively blends refinement with rawness,” says the Daily Telegraph.
