The Saze Project

Borne out of the stark landscapes of Southern Albania, The Saze Project perform spellbinding music “that beautifully navigates the different and the familiar” (Glitterbeat). The ensemble, including traditional polyphonic vocalists, boasts some of the finest contemporary performers of this ancient style. Mesmerising and haunting, Saze moves between achingly mournful ‘kaba’ to joyful dances, and opens a window to Albania’s fascinating musical traditions.

This performance is part of the Making Tracks season. Making Tracks is programmed & produced by KAPA Productions.
