Five people stand in a line against a coloured indoor wall. They are smiling awkwardly at the camera. There is a light leak across the bottom of the image.

Admiral Fallow (Louis Abbott, Kevin Brolly, Phil Hague, Sarah Hayes and Joe Rattray) have built a loyal following with their sweeping, melodic sound and emotionally rich songwriting.

Since their acclaimed debut Boots Met My Face (2011), they’ve released three more celebrated albums, including The Idea of You (2021) via Chemikal Underground, praised by Mojo, The Skinny and Uncut. Singles like Sleepwalking and Dragonfly gained BBC airplay, while recent live highlights include festival slots, UK tours, and support for The Proclaimers.

Beyond the band, members contribute to projects with artists like King Creosote and Karine Polwart, and their work includes film scores and a chamber opera. Admiral Fallow remain one of Scotland’s most quietly ambitious and musically talented bands.
