With her music, Amy Helm continues her familial legacy embedded in roots music.
Having started out in her father’s group Levon Helm’s Midnight Ramble Band, the singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist has forged a strong solo career with her resonant, accomplished vocals taking centre stage.
Her third album What The Flood Leaves Behind comprises Helm’s most personal work to date and saw her return home to Levon Helm Studios to record it.
The release features Josh Kaufman on production duties and songwriting contributions from fellow Americana luminaries Hiss Golden Messenger’s MC Taylor, Erin Rae and Mary Gauthier.
