How to get involved
This group is free to join, and you can apply to take part by sending us an audition video.
In this video, we’d like to film yourself:
- Singing a song or part of a song that you feel showcases your vocal skill.
- Singing back the vocal melody shown in the video below. The video is split in to two parts, the first with a melody for higher pitched voices, the second with a melody for lower pitched voices, please pick the one that suits you (you don’t have to do both).
Please send your video or videos to us via WhatsApp on 07391 680388, along with:
- Your name
- Your age
- Your parent/carer’s name
- Your parent/carer’s phone number
- Your parent/carer’s email address
- Confirmation that you are available for Monday evening rehearsals 17.00 – 19:30 and a performance with the group on Sat 4 July

Cellars at Bristol Beacon
Getting to the venue
Location: Weston Stage is located within Bristol Beacon. Head to Lower Ground (LG) and follow signs to Cellars and Weston Stage.
Address: Bristol Beacon, Trenchard Street, Bristol, BS1 5AR
Bicycle
Bicycle racks can be found in front of the main entrance on Trenchard Street, Colston Street, and on the city centre promenade. Find your nearest cycle routes using Cycle Planner.
Car parking
Trenchard Street multi-storey car park is 200m away, directly behind Bristol Beacon.
Bristol Clean Air Zone
Bristol Beacon is inside the Bristol Clean Air Zone. Check if your vehicle will be charged and how much you’ll have to pay.
Bus
Most bus services stop in and around the city centre promenade, 250m from Bristol Beacon.
Access
Mobility
Weston Stage has level access from street level.
Assistance Dogs
Assistance dogs and emotional support animals are allowed in the performance space. If you prefer, you can leave your animal with a member of staff during the performance.
Hearing Facility
A Sennheiser MobileConnect assistive listening system is installed in the venue. Download the free App and use your own mobile device and headphones to listen to the performance. (Devices are available on request.)
