A moody black and white, grainy image of a person with long dark looking to the right. Silhouettes of birds are overlaying the image.

Liverpool collective Ex-Easter Island Head bring their mesmeric guitar experiments to Bristol Beacon for BNM 2026.

Using solid-body electric guitars, percussion and mechanical preparations, they build immersive soundworlds from repetition, resonance and touch – shimmering drones and pulsing patterns shaped through deliberate restraint.

They’re joined by composer Jasmine Wood and electronic artist Pavel Milyakov for a collaboration spanning amplified grand piano, guitar and electronics, alongside singer-pianist Eliana Glass, whose intimate, jazz-rooted songs balance warmth with quiet adventure.

Together, this is a night of exploratory sound: hypnotic, tactile and deeply attentive to texture, space and the possibilities of live performance.
