Two children raise their hands

A hugely fun and practical session to give you the confidence, resources and fresh ideas to teach music in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Our new units have been written to include suggested links to Early Learning Goals (ELGs) and are packed with ideas to bring music into your play-based learning, small group learning and/or continuous provision. With huge flexibility to teach in short bursts or longer carpet-based sessions, these new units are ideal for non-specialist teachers to pick up and run with.

Alongside our units, often centred around books, is a singing pathway giving you new and familiar repertoire for short-burst singing, routine songs, even links to number bonds and early counting and subitising.

Ideal for all EYFS, Reception teachers and practitioners as well as music leads.

What you will gain from the session:

  • Gain ideas for music teaching at EYFS
  • Meet other Early years educators and share knowledge
  • Develop confidence and a broad repertoire to support in class learning

Presented by Bristol Beacon

This in-person CPD training session is for Reception Teachers, EYFS and practitioners as well as music leads.
