Hannah Williams and the Affirmations are well-renowned across the global soul scene for their retro-inspired sound.
Their music has been sampled by Jay Z, garnered praise from the likes of Will.i.am and Tyler the Creator, and seen them play prestigious events worldwide, including Blue Note Tokyo and Montreal Jazz Festival.
Whilst the pandemic hit not long after the release of their sophomore album 50 Foot Woman, the Bristol-based band spent this time working on a prolific amount of new material ready to take on the road.
The band are joined by one of the hardest-working women in blues, rock and roots music, Elles Bailey, who will be performing the first half of this double-headline show.
Bailey has won back to back artist of the year awards at the UK Blues Awards (2020/2021) and is joining the likes of Joe Bonamassa and Don McLean on tour in 2022.

Running order change
Hannah Williams will be performing an acoustic set due to illness in the band. Updated running order:
Doors: 19.30
Hannah Williams acoustic set: 20.15 – 21.15
Elles Bailey: 21.30 – 22.45
Update
We are sorry to say that a number of Hannah’s band have tested positive for COVID or are displaying symptoms.
Hannah is very keen for this gig to go ahead as scheduled, so rather than cancelling altogether she will now be performing an acoustic set with a reduced band.
There will also be a reversal of the running order, with Hannah Williams opening the evening and Elles Bailey performing second.
We apologise for any disappointment, but we wanted to do everything possible to avoid cancelling, and hope you’ll still have a fantastic evening.
Soul music retro-fitted with the same ebullient musicality as their forebears, such as the sadly departed Sharon Jones and Charles Bradley”
