A group of diverse musicians with different needs all sit round playing in an ensemble

Join musicians from NOYO Bristol Ensemble for our Blue Sky Summer Concert in Lantern Hall.

Go intergalactic with Williams’s Star Wars, dive into the gaming digital world of Plants Vs Zombies soundtrack, and chill out with Gotye’s anthem ‘Somebody That I used to Know’, as well as programme of solo performances. Everyone is welcome for this relaxed concert as we celebrate another brilliant year of our NOYO Bristol Ensemble.

About the performance

This is a relaxed performance welcoming of disabled and neurodivergent audiences, families, and anyone else who would benefit from a less formal environment.

There is a relaxed attitude to noise and audience members are free to leave and re-enter the concert hall at any point.

range of seating options is available for this concert. Seating is unreserved and will include wheelchair and personal assistant/companion spaces. There will also be a relaxed seating area where you can choose to move on the day if this is more comfortable for you.

There is a Changing Places toilet in the venue for those that require an accessible changing place. Stewards will be able to direct you to this.

Location: Lantern Hall is located within Bristol Beacon. Head to Level 1 and follow signs to find the auditorium.

  Bicycle

Bicycle racks can be found in front of the main entrance on Trenchard Street, Colston Street, and on the city centre promenade. Find your nearest cycle routes using Cycle Planner.

Car parking

Trenchard Street multi-storey car park is 200m away, directly behind Bristol Beacon.

  Bristol Clean Air Zone

Bristol Beacon is inside the Bristol Clean Air Zone. Check if your vehicle will be charged and how much you’ll have to pay.

  Bus

Most bus services stop in and around the city centre promenade, 250m from Bristol Beacon.

Mobility

Spaces for wheelchair users are available within the first 10 rows on the flat floor of the Hall.

Assistance Dogs

Assistance dogs and emotional support animals are allowed in the performance space. Seats in rows AA-J on the flat floor are most suitable. If you prefer, you can leave your animal with a member of staff during the performance.

Hearing Facility

A Sennheiser MobileConnect assistive listening system is installed in the venue. Download the free App and use your own mobile device and headphones to listen to the performance. (Devices are available on request.)
