The Vernon Spring is the evocative solo project of North London musician Sam Beste, whose music drifts between jazz, soul, ambient, and electronic soundscapes.

A gifted pianist and composer, Beste’s career has seen him perform with Amy Winehouse, collaborate with Kendrick Lamar’s producer Sounwave, and work alongside artists like Beth Orton and MF DOOM. Now, as The Vernon Spring, he crafts delicate, deeply emotive pieces that fuse improvisational piano with subtle electronic textures.

With acclaimed releases like A Plane Over Woods and Earth, On A Good Day, Beste continues to push sonic boundaries. Experience his haunting, atmospheric sound live at Strange Brew that showcases his unique approach to composition and improvisation.
