A group of musicians gathered in a hall, playing various instruments under the guidance of an instructor in a patterned shirt.

Do you have a cello in your attic collecting dust? Have you always dreamed of playing music in a group but never picked up an instrument? Or are you an enthusiastic musician looking to make music with new people?

We are excited to be launching our regular block of rehearsals for Today’s The Day: Bristol Beacon Community Band.

This is a brand-new music ensemble for ages 16+, and all musical abilities, instruments and voices. Led by social musician and practitioner Hugh Nankivell, this ensemble meets regularly to jam, create music, and work towards performing together. You will also be joined by Bristol Beacon’s Community Musicians who are well-experienced in making music with people of all abilities and backgrounds.

Sign up now to our block of nine Community Band sessions this October – December.

So come along, bring your friends, your family, your instrument, or just yourself, and see what being in an inclusive community band is all about!
