Diversity & Inclusion

We embrace diversity and difference and believe that our work is more exciting and rich with a workforce representing the communities we connect with across the city and beyond. We are always looking for individuals who have something new to say and bring energy and fresh perspectives to help us connect with Bristol and the wider community. If you have a passion for music, a desire to learn new skills and be part of our team, we would love to hear from you.

You can read more about our Transformation Promise, which details how diversity will be at the heart of everything we do, from programming and partnerships to recruitment and audience development here.

We are working towards providing mentors who can support applicants who may not have worked in a cultural organisation before and would like some advice on articulating their experience and skills into an application.

To find out more about this, please email hr@bristolbeacon.org. We won’t ask you to disclose your background, and you won’t meet with someone who is part of the recruiting panel.

The well-being of our staff is essential. Therefore, we are committed to providing a safe and positive work environment so everyone feels supported in all aspects of their work.
