Earlier this year, we invited disabled audience members to take part in our Access Consultation Day – an opportunity to share honest feedback about every stage of the customer journey, from booking tickets and planning a visit through to arriving, enjoying a performance and heading home.
We’ve now recorded a video update to share what we learned, the key themes that emerged, and the actions we’re taking in response. We also explain how you can continue to help shape future improvements by getting involved in upcoming co-design workshops and our new Access Development Group.
In this update you’ll hear about:
- What you told us in our access survey
- What happened during the Access Consultation Day
- The key themes and findings from the discussions
- The improvements we’re making across communications, customer experience and accessibility
- Opportunities to continue working with us to shape future developments
Below you’ll find the video, presentation slides to download, and a full transcript if you’d prefer to read the update.

Access Development Group
Many attendees told us they wanted to stay involved and continue helping shape improvements. We’re creating more opportunities to work together which will include a new Access Development Group that will receive updates and help shape future improvements.
