Bristol Beacon and Bristol Beer Factory announce new partnership

Buying a beer while watching a gig will now help further support Bristol community organisations.

Bristol Beer Factory beers are now being poured at Bristol Beacon following the launch of a new partnership which sees Bristol Beer Factory appointed as our new Brewing Partner. The iconic Bristol brewery will supply a full range of draft options and canned products on Bristol Beacon’s bars as well as the Colonnade restaurant.

From this week, audiences will be able to enjoy a selection of Bristol Beer Factory favourites, with the draft tap range featuring Laser Juice 4.2% Session IPA, North Street 4.8% Cider, and Gravity 4.1% Pils Lager. Alongside the draught options there will be a range of Bristol Beer Factory cans including Clear Head 0.5% alcohol free IPA.

Through its Brewed to Give programme, Bristol Beer Factory donates 2% of its turnover to charitable and community causes, supporting organisations and projects that make a positive difference to people’s lives. The brewery’s commitment to using its business to support charities and community organisations strongly aligns with Bristol Beacon’s own values as a not-for-profit organisation delivering music education, community engagement and talent development programmes across the region alongside its busy performance and conferencing programme of over 700 events per year.

The partnership brings together two Bristol organisations with a shared commitment to supporting the city’s cultural and community life. Bristol Beer Factory has been chosen as Bristol Beacon’s brewing partner in recognition not only of the quality and locality of its beers, but also of its longstanding commitment to giving back to the communities it serves.

Frances Rosewell, Head of Commercial Development at Bristol Beacon, said:

“Audiences have told us that they would like to see more local drinks products on offer at Bristol Beacon, and we’ve really taken that on board. We wanted to work with a brewery that not only makes great beer, but shares our belief in the importance of supporting the communities around us.

“Bristol Beer Factory’s commitment to giving back to Bristol charities and community organisations was a really important part of our decision. As a not-for-profit organisation ourselves, our partnerships are an opportunity to create value for our audiences while also supporting the wider work we do through our education, talent and community programmes.

“We’re looking forward to raising a glass to the partnership and giving our audiences the chance to enjoy some of Bristol’s great independent brewing alongside the music and entertainment experiences they come to Bristol Beacon for.”
