Colston Street is closed to traffic until at least Sun 28 Jun whilst repairs to a gas main on Colston Street are carried out.
Visitors attending events at Bristol Beacon are advised to allow extra time for their journey and check local travel information before travelling.
On Sunday 21 June, Bristol Beacon was evacuated as a precaution following a damaged gas main near the venue.
Bristol Beacon is now open and all future events will take place as planned.
Unfortunately, the incident led to the cancellation of two performances on Sunday 21 June:
- Arooj Aftab & London Contemporary Orchestra
- Michel Padron’s Afro-Cuban Orchestra
We are currently working with Arooj Aftab & London Contemporary Orchestra to arrange a new date for this performance. All ticket holders have been contacted directly by email and are advised to retain their tickets until further notice. We will update you as soon as possible.
Unfortunately it’s not been possible to reschedule Michel Padron’s Afro-Cuban Orchestra. Customers have been contacted about refunds for this event.
We’d like to thank everyone for their patience, understanding and support following the disruption on Sunday.
We apologise again for the inconvenience caused to those affected by the cancellations and appreciate your understanding while we work to confirm new performance dates.
Stay safe, and stay cool this week!
