It’s time to Make Space for Music.
As a music charity, we’re here to help make space every day, with everyone, with you!
Alongside our programme of incredible live music, we work across the city with young people, emerging artists, and communities to make musical experiences that change lives.
Because when we make space for music, we make space for amazing moments that last a lifetime.

Our commitment
We’ve committed to raising £8 million over the next 3 years to ensure we can complete the once-in-a-generation transformation of Bristol Beacon and grow the work we do.
Could you help us make space for music in more people’s lives?
Helping Bristol recover from the pandemic
Our vision to help everyone make space for music is focussed on three priority commitments: recovering from the pandemic, completing our once-in-a-generation transformation, and growing our work to help more of us make space for music every day.
Commitment 1
Commitment 1
Like other arts organisations, our programmes came to an abrupt and unprecedented halt in 2020. It will take time to fully recover our activity.
During our transformation, we will continue to invest in Bristol’s live music scene and music education, working with venues, schools and artists.
Commitment 2
Commitment 2
With your support, we will finish the transformation of our venue, honouring our heritage site by safeguarding the listed building and much-loved cultural asset that has provided memorable music moments for over 150 years.
Commitment 3
Commitment 3
We want to ensure that inclusion is at the heart of our organisation and work so that we can fulfill our purpose to share the unity and joy of live music with everyone. We’ve set out our goals in our ambitious ‘Transformation Promise’.
