Hailing from Brazil and Denmark, retro garage-rock duo The Courettes mix “Duane Eddy Twang and 60s girl-group vocals” (Vive Le Rock).
Comprised 0f wife and husband Flavia and Martin Couri, The Courettes have made their mark with a dynamic sound that is at once steeped in nostalgia and driven by a future-facing vitality.
Having toured across the world the two-piece have garnered a strong reputation for their energetic live performances.
In 2020 The Courettes signed to legendary label Damaged Goods who have since reissued the band’s first two albums ahead of their third record coming out later this year.
